A well-established high-end interior design firm seeks talented, experienced, creative, and motivated candidates for the position of Interior Architectural Designer. For the position in San Francisco, the applicant must have 3-5 years professional experience working in high end residential design or hospitality design. Knowledge of residential detailing, shop drawings and superior AutoCAD skills are required. Candidates will collaborate with a Studio Director and Principal in the creation and implementation of interior design and schemes; produce highly detailed design and construction documents, review shop drawings, produce FF&E specifications schedules and manage aspects of the projects during construction including meetings with the contractor, architects, lighting designer, and other consultants and custom fabricators.
The qualified candidate will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, well-organized and highly motivated w / excellent verbal and written communications skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Interior Architecture and Design or Architecture
- Minimum (3-5) Years of Experience in High-end Residential / Hospitality Design
- Technical Expertise in AutoCAD & Construction Documents Experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & 3D Modeling, SketchUP, Indesign, sketching and rendering advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast paced, busy and creative atmosphere
- Strong attention to detail
- A minimum of (2) professional references
- Candidates must confirm eligibility / qualifications to work in United States
