What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Designer position at Design Manifest LLC?
We are seeking a highly capable, detail oriented, collaborative junior designer with strong organizational skills to help of our small and mighty residential interior design studio. Ability to problem-solve and manage many details of multiple projects in different phases a must.
Candidates should be comfortable in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Excel. Learning Chief Architect Software will be an essential part of this job. For those who are driven to be a part of a close knit team creating truly exceptional, high-quality work this is the position you are looking for.

DUTIES:
* Collaborate with Creative Director and senior designers on overall concept
*Produce of interior architectural construction documents, draft floor plans and elevations, including cabinetry listings and tile layouts.
* Source furnishings and architectural fixtures, finishes & materials
* Obtain and document all quotes
* Create Schedules (FFE, paint, hardware etc)
* Create 3-D renderings for client presentations
*Create presentation boards and additional supporting design documentation
*Attend design meetings, conduct site visits and interact with client, vendors and all trades people.
* Work with craftsman to ensure work is executed to specifications
* Trips to furniture warehouse, stone yards and trade showrooms as needed
* Order samples and manage sample inventory
* Coordinate orders with Director of Operations
*Maintains and keeps current, organized records for all design projects
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· College-level degree required in interior design or related field
· Min. 1 year experience at a full-service RESIDENTIAL design or architecture firm
· Experience required in:
· Fluency in Photoshop and MS Office and Google suite required
· Experience with AutoCAD both in 2D and 3D- we use Chief Architect and candidates will need to become proficient in that software.
* Mastery of 3D Rendering
· Knowledge of manufacturers and sources for residential applications
