What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Event Lighting Designer position at Design Productions, LLC?
Design Productions, LLC is currently seeking reliable individuals for the full time position of Live Event Lighting Designer. Successful individuals will help execute flawless live events and corporate meetings.
Must have a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Valid drivers license REQUIRED.
Must be familiar with Hog and Stage CL lighting consoles
Setup, program and operate moving lights and LED lights.
Load and unload vans, trucks, or other transporting devices.
Drive cargo vans and box trucks up to 26' in length.
Individuals will gain experience with operating different types of lighting fixtures.
Other responsibilities include:
Setup drapery and pipe & drape systems
Prepare and clean equipment before it leaves the warehouse and when it returns.
Climb ladders up to 28' high, work with scissor lifts up to 40'.
Set up video, audio and drapery equipment at event sites.
Be able to complete tasks under pressure/time limits.
Be capable of managing a staff while on job sites.
Be assigned other tasks not listed here.
