Do you enjoy working outdoors? Design Professionals, Inc.(DPI) is presently looking for land surveyors (instrument operators) for our growing surveying practice. DPI is a leading multi-disciplinary land development consulting firm serving the three southern New England states from our home office in South Windsor, Connecticut. Because we serve all of CT, MA, & RI, occasionally overnight stays are required, but are a rarity.

Our survey crews operate state-of-the-art field equipment, including VRN GPS and robotic total stations. We perform all aspects of land surveying, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction stakeout, and as-built surveys.
Eagerness and ability to work outdoors in difficult terrain and year-round weather conditions is required. A valid driver's license is also required. Survey experience is a plus. Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus overtime.
Summary of Duties:
- Assist with performing a wide variety of land surveying activities including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction stakeout and as-built surveys.
- Operate a variety of specialized surveying equipment including robotic Total Stations and GPS.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors, including traversing difficult terrain and extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Survey experience is a plus
- A valid driver's license is required
