Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As an Order Picker, you will Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts specific to jobs, process warehouse parts into inventory, and more.
Can be 1st, 2nd, or mid day shift.

Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, education, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities
- Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts, steel and panel enclosures for specific to jobs
- Update the Inventory Control System and data entry
- Process warehouse parts into inventory with both consigned and non-consigned parts
- Perform cycle counts
- Learn how to perform the shortage report, warehouse transfers, aftermarket and drives.
- Train and learn how to use the stand-up, sit down forklifts and the Big Joe
- Deliver parts to production line(s) as directed
- Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area
- Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
- Identify and assist in process improvement measures
- High school education or equivalent (required)
- Forklift driving experience - internal certification provided (preferred)
- Prior RF Scanner experience (preferred)
- ERP experience (preferred)
- Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills
- High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance)
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
- Hourly pay range of $18.00-20.00 DOE
