Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As an Order Picker, you will Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts specific to jobs, process warehouse parts into inventory, and more.

Can be 1st, 2nd, or mid day shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts, steel and panel enclosures for specific to jobs
• Update the Inventory Control System and data entry
• Process warehouse parts into inventory with both consigned and non-consigned parts
• Perform cycle counts
• Learn how to perform the shortage report, warehouse transfers, aftermarket and drives.
• Train and learn how to use the stand-up, sit down forklifts and the Big Joe
• Deliver parts to production line(s) as directed
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area
• Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
• Identify and assist in process improvement measures
  
  

Education | Experience

• High school education or equivalent (required)
• Forklift driving experience - internal certification provided (preferred)
• Prior RF Scanner experience (preferred)
• ERP experience (preferred)
  
  

Abilities | Skills

• Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills
• High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance)
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day

This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, education, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity.
