Sales & Marketing Administrator
The Sales & Marketing Administrator will play a critical role in supporting marketing initiatives and sales operations for both the DRI DUCK and Caps Direct brands. This position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly marketing meetings for DRI DUCK and Caps Direct, leading designated meetings when required to ensure actionable outcomes and efficient use of time.
- Oversee network file organization and cleanup to ensure efficient access to key marketing and sales resources.
- Coordinate sample kit boxing/shipping and maintain physical and digital inventory management of marketing materials, including catalogs, vertical flyers, trend videos, whitepapers, and webinars.
- Assist in tracking marketing budgets and managing invoices for corporate marketing projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partner agencies to develop and deploy key sales enablement collateral: vertical flyers, catalogs, trend videos, whitepapers, and webinars
Sales Support
- Manage customer-provided incidentals and sample sale packaging/shipping.
- Provide administrative support for sales tasks, including document preparation, reporting and record-keeping.
- Audit wholesale, online retail, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites to ensure product accuracy for DRI DUCK.
- Provide administrative and project management support to the Corporate Channel Director and the larger sales team.
Tradeshow Collaboration
- Manage tradeshow planning and logistics, including coordinating contracts, travel arrangements, and schedules.
- Work closely with sales and merchandising teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing strategies that promote show presence, drive engagement, and support actionable lead follow-up post-show.
- Ensure all event branding aligns with company standards to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or administrative roles (experience in the apparel, headwear or promotional products industries is a plus).
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
- Ability to work a 5-day work week in an office setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., DivvyHQ, Wrike) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
