Sales Operations Analyst
We are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team and support our growing sales organization across the DRI Duck and Caps Direct companies. This role will act as a key liaison between sales, operations, and customers to ensure smooth order processing, accurate inventory management, and seamless communication across teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Support: Provide comprehensive support to the larger sales team, including assistance with pricing and sales strategies for team members in the field.
- Vendor and Wholesaler Agreements: Compile and manage early-round vendor and wholesaler agreements; work with leadership to ensure agreement reviews and signings.
- Website Accuracy Audits: Audit partner wholesaler websites to ensure DRI DUCK product information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Pricing and Policy Management:
- Manage product price list updates across all connected systems, industry databases, and customer portals (i.e. Sage, ESP, SAP, etc.)
- Coordinate Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy updates and provide reporting for sales team enforcement.
- Inventory and Product Coordination:
- Coordinate import schedules and new product releases to ensure internal tracking and pricing systems are accurate.
- Develop and execute strategies to manage and move liquidated inventory, including coordinating with sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue through clearance sales, promotions, or other targeted initiatives.
- Order Management: Monitor and manage order workflows, ensuring alignment with production schedules and delivery timelines.
- Process Alignment: Support the standardization of creative and operational processes. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in sales operations.
Online Retail Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary relationship holder for each online retail business partner, from the merchandising/buying team through to operational contacts for launch and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage new account setup, including assortment planning documents, image uploads, navigating new portals, and developing processes for internal teams.
- Conduct seasonal reviews of online retail assortments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Off-site inventory management related to Amazon FBA
- Serve as the internal advocate for each online retail business partner’s marketing needs, driving online sales performance. Collaborate with the marketing team to repurpose or create assets that align with each retailer’s seasonal marketing opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis and proficiency in excel
- Higher education degree or certification(s) in sales, business administration, marketing, and/or strategic communications.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
- Ability to work a 5-day work week in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
