Design Studio 15 specializes in cutting edge design, featuring projects of estate homes, commercial buildings, high-rises, bars, restaurants, and model homes. Our international clients and properties range from all over the world, with custom new home builds from 10,000 square feet.

This position requires a confident designer, who can assist our clients throughout the design process from beginning to end. Someone who supports this position is deeply driven to stand behind the heartbeat of DS15.

Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred
· 3-4 Years of work experience preferred
Program Requirements:
· Sketch-up
· Auto CAD
· Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Word
. REVIT (a plus)
Scope of work:
· With oversight from DS15 management, the interior designer will work with clients and DS15 team members throughout the entire design process: Concept, design development, rendering development, construction documents, furniture selections, project management and final installation. Designers are expected to be able to run all aspects of the project from start to finish.
Task to include, but are not limited to:
· Professional client facing skills are the cornerstone of this position. Strong articulate email and presentation skills are required. Designer to always maintain a positive and professional demeaner while communicating with vendors, contractors, clients, and DS15 team members.
· Producing creative and cutting-edge concept presentations
· Specifying finishes, fixtures, and millwork
· Interior architectural design
· Space planning new construction and existing building plans
· Generating full construction documents (floorplans, elevations, millwork drawings) for new construction or existing building plans
· Understanding of construction methods
· Redlining construction and MEP drawings
· Producing 3D renderings
· Producing and presenting full design presentations in person and on zoom as necessary
· Specifying furniture, producing furniture presentations and organizing furniture specifications for the procurement department
· Understands the procurement process and coordinates with procurement manager
· Specifying window treatments and coordinating their installations
· Attending and leading job site visits
· Guiding and delegating tasks to junior staff members to ensure project efficiencies
· Work well as a team in a fast paced and energetic environment
· Have excellent problem-solving skills
· Detailed and organized in all aspects of work
· Handle multiple projects and tasks at a time
· Tracks time per job as well as follows scope of work for each project efficiently'
