Design Studio 15 specializes in cutting edge design, featuring projects of private planes, estate homes, high-rises, bars, restaurants, and model homes. Our international clients and properties range from India to The Cayman Islands, with custom new home builds from 10,000 square feet.

This position requires a confident designer, who can assist our team members throughout the design process, from beginning to end. Someone who supports this position is deeply driven to stand behind the heartbeat of DS15.

Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior design preferred
· 3-5 Years of work experience preferred
Program Requirements:
- Strong Sketch-up Inscape
- REVIT
- Auto CAD
- Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Word
Scope of work:
· With oversight and guidance from DS15 management, the junior designer will support the DS15 team throughout the entire design process: Concept, design development, rendering development, construction documents, furniture selections, project management and final installation.
Task to include, but are not limited to:
· Professional client facing skills are the cornerstone of this position. Strong articulate email and presentation skills are required. Designer to always maintain a positive and professional demeaner while communicating with vendors, contractors, clients, and DS15 team members.
· Producing high quality sketch up renderings and inscape
· Assist producing creative and cutting-edge concept presentations
· Assist specifying finishes, fixtures, and millwork
· Assist creating interior architectural design
· Space planning new construction and existing building plans
· Generating full construction documents (floorplans, elevations, millwork drawings) for new construction or existing building plans.
· Imputing specifications into company software
· Assist producing full design presentations in person and on zoom as necessary
· Assist specifying furniture, producing furniture presentations and organizing furniture specifications for the procurement department.
· Assist specifying window treatments and coordinating their installations
· Attending job site visits
· Work well as a team in a fast paced and energetic environment
· Have excellent problem-solving skills
· Detailed and organized in all aspects of work
· Handle multiple tasks at a time
· Tracks time per job as well as follows scope of work for each project efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
