Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Summary
This position will be responsible for leading and executing designArc Group’s business development and project planning for K-12, Higher Education, and Healthcare market sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies potential customers and develops strategic relationships.
- Assists clients in early project development (facilitating in-house and external resources as required).
o Education adequacy review and programming
o Facility Assessment
o Development
o Programming
o Pre-Construction
o Site Selection
o Identify alternative funding sources and entitlements.
- Works with our in-house funding source team
- Assists in proposal and interview process and strategy for K-12, Higher Education & Healthcare
- Develops marketing plans for K-12, Higher Education & Healthcare
o Assists in developing opportunity for K-12, Higher Education, & Healthcare
o Active in related trade associations
- Attends trade shows.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master of Architecture from an accredited university and current architectural registration/licensure
- At least 6 years of post-graduate experience in the planning, design, documentation, and construction of K-12, Higher Education & Healthcare Sector
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (BIM360, Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of building code and life safety issues; you understand K-12, Higher Education & Healthcare workflow and have exposure to process improvement activities and productivity systems such as LEED AP or WELL AP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
- Ability to travel as needed to serve market sector interests, including School Board meetings.
