About the Role
Designblendz is seeking a highly motivated and NCIDQ certified Interior Designer to spearhead our growing Interior Design Department. As we expand our reach nationally, we are looking for a visionary leader who embodies the core values of our organization : never settle, honesty integrity, passion, quality with quantity, leading by example, and innovation.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and Develop : Oversee interior design assignments from concept to completion with a sharp eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of project phases. You'll lead a team, fostering an environment of growth and development.
- Build Relationships : Manage and nurture existing client relationships while exploring new opportunities to expand our project scope both locally and nationally.
- Communicate Effectively : Ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication across project teams and with clients, enhancing our reputation for reliability and client satisfaction.
- Proposal Development : Collaborate with leadership in the preparation and presentation of project proposals, bringing creative and strategic insights to the table.
- Vendor and Resource Management : Maintain and enhance our resource library by updating vendor contacts and ensuring relevant and up-to-date materials are accessible to all staff.
- Promote Design Excellence : Act as an ambassador for Designblendz's portfolio, guiding and educating others about our work while advocating for creativity and design excellence.
- Business Development : Engage in activities that promote business growth, including marketing initiatives, attending conferences, and participating in interviews.
- Portfolio Management : Direct the creation and submission of design competitions or award entries and manage project photography and descriptions to build the firm's portfolio.
