Position: Analytics Manager

Overview: ERW Retaining Walls is seeking a dedicated and experienced Analytics Manager to support the Director of Analytics in driving the success and profitability of our construction projects. This key role involves overseeing job performance from initiation to close-out, optimizing processes, and ensuring accurate data management. The Analytics Manager will also play a pivotal role in training and leading the Analytics Team.
Department Responsibilities:
- Manage Project Success: Oversee the profitability and successful completion of construction jobs from hand-off to close-out.
- Evaluate Productivity: Continuously assess productivity to ensure projects meet or exceed budgeted goals for revenue and margin.
- Gross Margin Improvement: Contribute to improving gross margins across all projects and markets served by ERW.
- Training & Development: Train team members on ComputerEase modules related to field-based services, including Job Costing, FieldEase, and Production WIP.
- Month-End Reconciliation: Reconcile month-end adjustments and revised estimates for job completion.
- Process Optimization: Provide feedback on productivity and identify areas for process improvement.
Specific Job Duties:
- Change Order Management: Add approved change orders to reconciliations/SOV.
- Production Report Management: Print daily reports from ComputerEase, verify for accuracy, and make necessary corrections.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate discrepancies between ComputerEase data and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy.
- Budget Creation: Develop cost budgets within ComputerEase and for sales leads.
- Payroll Support: Assist in researching payroll discrepancies and entering daily production data into reconciliations.
- Field Log Audits: Audit field logs and timesheets daily, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- New Job Setup: Build and maintain reconciliations and timesheets for new jobs to
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor members of the Analytics Team
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested to support the overall goals of the Analytics department.
Skills and Abilities:
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Excel is a required with experience in ComputerEase or similar construction management software.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities to train and guide team members.
- Communication: Effective communication skills for training, feedback, and collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for auditing reports and ensuring data accuracy
