Position Overview: The Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating various aspects of project management and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This position involves close collaboration with project managers, materials directors, on-site teams, and customers to achieve project goals and maintain positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination:
• Communicate daily with Project Managers/Assistant Project Managers (P.M./A.P.M.) regarding headcounts and projections for each assigned project.
• Oversee all material orders and maintain regular communication with the Materials Director to project material needs.
• Attend pre-construction meetings with the Project Manager to ensure comprehensive understanding of assigned projects.
• Project Management:
• Provide daily and weekly projections to the Project Manager for each project, including production, materials, and schedule.
• Manage each project to achieve and maintain desired profit margins.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Meetings and Reporting:
• Attend daily schedule meetings with Project Managers and Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Operations.
• Reconcile each project daily and communicate progress, schedule, and any issues with on-site customer representatives.
• Check timesheets daily to ensure accuracy and report correct information.
• Maintain a 3-day game plan for each project and share relevant information with the Project Manager, Materials Director, and customer.
• Maintain active communication with engineering inspectors to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Site Supervision and Equipment Management:
• Check each wall to ensure proper location, elevations, and adherence to engineered drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements on-site.
• Monitor equipment for daily maintenance needs and project any special equipment requirements.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding the status of each project.
• Keep track of the status of each project daily and report any issues to the Project Manager.
• Document job progress and add photos daily in the Build system or designated platform.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects to completion, meeting budget and schedule requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
