Designcraft is a prototype-oriented job shop helping our client companies bring new products to market. With varying quantities, part dimensions, materials and finishes you will be challenged to grow your skill set daily while working amongst our team of highly skilled individuals.
Our finishing department is comprised of the artists that turn new ideas into reality. Through the application of paint, polishing, graphics, and assembly they turn custom components made by our team members into high quality visual models that look, feel, and function like real products. Visual models are used for client evaluation, product photography, focus groups, and tradeshows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prep and paint plastic and metal parts (3D printed, machined, or cast)
- Polish metal and clear coat
- Apply graphics and work with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Assemble and disassemble existing and new products
- Develop custom colors
- Department Scheduling
- Providing Hours Estimates
- Annual Reviews for Team Members
- Purchase Requests for Department Supplies
Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship
- 'US persons' as defined by law due to ITAR
- Lift 35lbs and stand for long periods
- Understand, write, and communicate instructions in English
- Valid Driver's License
- High School degree or equivalent
- Able to wear half or full-face respirator as required by OSHA
