Job title : Power Equipment Operator
General Summary : A Power Equipment Operator is responsible for the efficient transportation, delivery, and retrieval of merchandise to various locations throughout the distribution center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Loads and unloads merchandise from trailers and departments insuring proper carton count.
- Shuttles, retrieves, and delivers pallets to designated areas according to pick lists.
- Transport empty pallets to designated areas.
- Scans merchandise into locations via the RF Gun.
- Insures there is no overhang of merchandise.
- Insures there are no broken and / or damaged goods.
- Occasional shrink wrap of cartons.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Communicates problems / concerns to the Lead and / or Area Manager.
- Maintains an accurate power equipment log.
- Attentiveness to pedestrian / equipment traffic.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must move to other departments based on the needs of the department, facility, and company.
