What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Designer Greetings?
Designer Greetings is looking for a SEASONAL merchandiser to service our greeting cards in a grocery store in Baker City, OR. The hours are 1.5-2 hours per visit, 7- 8 times a year (after each major holiday). A schedule will be provided.
Essential duties include:
- Process and put out greeting card orders
- Reorder cards
- Process seasonal returns
- Maintain and fill product on displays
Physical Demands: Able to lift 35 lbs.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to operate efficiently under minimal supervision (self-managed role)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
A willingness to be trained and follow procedures accurately
Ability to work effectively with store personnel
Ability to maintain a regular, reliable service cycle
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- A smart phone and access to the internet with a personal email account.
- A working knowledge of using an app
- Previous retail / grocery experience a plus.
- Successful completion of general background check.
- Must be available to work within a few days after holidays to transition seasonal cards
- Ideal candidate lives or works in Baker City, OR
