The company is looking to add a Senior MEP Project Manager to their team, overseeing mechanical design activities and driving innovation.
This role involves mentoring team members, leading sustainable electrical engineering initiatives, and fostering technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team effort by coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure coordinated designs.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet client expectations.
- Manage projects of varying scale with limited senior management assistance.
- Act as prime correspondent with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for equipment selection and specification.
- Oversee client updates on major project changes or milestones.
- Lead client meetings and hearings.
Using your technical expertise, you will also:
- Supervise engineering studies, prepare reports, and review mechanical calculations.
- Develop and review high-quality MEP documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Review mechanical plans, including BMS controls, riser diagrams, equipment schedules, installation details, and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 8 years of experience working at an MEP firm or related industry.
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical systems, documentation, specifications, and construction.
- Able to obtain federal security clearance as required.
