Essential Responsibilities :
- Work toward proficiency in the current software(s) packages / programs used by the firm and perform analyses using Vistro, Sidra, Synchro and SimTraffic.
- Prepare conceptual intersection layouts, schematics, signal timings and engineering reports.
- Prepare signing and pavement marking plans.
- Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD and / or Microstation.
- Prepare truck and vehicle turning exhibits using AutoTURN.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to research, analyze, and resolve complex transportation issues.
- Assist in preparing Transportation Demand Management plans.
- Apply current Local, State & Federal design and zoning standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
