Landscape Crew Leader

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage & Lead the crew onsite, ensuring the landscape design is properly executed.
• Complete Landscape Installation tasks such as removing/installing plants, applying weed fabric, applying topsoil, spreading mulch, laying sod, laying flagstone, etc.
• Complete Landscape Maintenance tasks such as leaf removal, pressure washing, trim/prune plants, landscape bed cleanup, etc.
• Keep records of each job, including plants/materials used, labor hours, equipment used, etc.
• Provide professional onsite customer service to clients, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
• Other tasks may include sharpening of landscape tools, keeping the warehouse clean & organized, replenishing fuel for gas powered equipment, safety check of equipment, etc.

Requirements

• Must have 2-3 years professional Landscape experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a Valid Kentucky Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer with the proven ability to backup trailer
• Able to lift 80 - 100 lbs
• Able to stoop, bend, squat, etc. continuously during the day
• Knowledge of small equipment such as Blowers, Weed Eaters, Auger, etc.
• Ability to operate Skid Steer, mini excavator, and/or other similar equipment
• Kentucky Certified Nurseryman is a plus!
• Obtaining or willing to obtain a Category 3 Pesticide Applicators License
• Must be detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
