Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance operations for our manufacturing facility specializing in capsules, gel caps, and tablets. This role ensures that all equipment and facility systems operate efficiently, safely, and in strict compliance with industry standards and regulations such as cGMP. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity in a highly regulated environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintenance Oversight
Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Supervise and mentor a diverse maintenance team, including technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Develop and manage the maintenance department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality or compliance.
Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers and vendors.
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production interruptions.
Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reliability with ability to utilize Lean and 5S / 6S methodologies.

Competencies
Experienced with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Electronics.
