Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be proficient in financial software, including QuickBooks. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and office supplies inventory.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Oversee double entry bookkeeping and maintain compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation by utilizing accounting software.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Train and supervise administrative staff to enhance productivity and maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP, with hands-on experience in general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and double entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
