Role Overview:


As the Associate Creative Director (ACD) at Designsensory, you are both a leader and a maker—bridging big ideas with flawless execution. You guide teams through concept development, design and storytelling, ensuring that every campaign, brand identity and digital experience is both strategic and emotionally compelling.


You’ll collaborate closely with clients, creative teams, strategists and media specialists, balancing creative vision with business objectives to deliver work that captivates, converts and resonates. You push creative boundaries while ensuring consistency, quality and strategic alignment across all deliverables.


Our ideal candidate has a strong command of design and beauty, and has shown throughout their career the desire to take that skillset and become more strategic and deliberate with their storytelling. Someone who is ready to unite strategy, design, storytelling and marketing, and step up to the mantle as a great Creative Director.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the design execution of branding, campaigns, websites and content across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with the VP of Creative to ensure strategic alignment and high-quality design outcomes.
  • Guide and mentor designers, providing clear feedback and inspiration.
  • Develop and present big ideas that align with client objectives and push creative boundaries.
  • Direct and refine design systems, typography, layouts and visual storytelling across projects.
  • Lead photo and video shoots, ensuring high-quality art direction and visual consistency.
  • Work closely with writers, strategists, UX designers, developers and account teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Present and sell work to clients, articulating the strategic and creative rationale.
  • Maintain hands-on design work, refining and elevating key deliverables.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tool and technology to keep Designsensory at the forefront of creative excellence.
  • Experiment with new techniques and creative approaches to drive innovation in branding, digital experiences and advertising.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • 7 years of experience in a design or art direction role, ideally within an agency setting.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand identity, campaign work and digital-first design.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, color theory and layout principles.
  • Experience with leading design teams, mentoring creatives and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to articulate and sell creative ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with motion design and experiential activations is a plus.
