DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking a BIM Junior Specialist. This position will provide competency in BIM to support the development planning, engineering, construction documents and models or other technical services of the company and experience in BIM techniques and procedures.

Summary/Objective
DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking a BIM Junior Specialist. This position will provide competency in BIM to support the development planning, engineering, construction documents and models or other technical services of the company and experience in BIM techniques and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operates a computer to generate BIM models, working drawings and sketches as directed.
- Assists in preparing LOD 300 models, layouts and drawings of concrete, concrete masonry unit, steel and timber structures consisting of plans, elevations, sections and details.
- Reviews design and confers with engineering staff to verify or resolve details not completely defined.
- Inputs required commands to redesign, modify, or otherwise edit existing design under direction of immediate supervisor.
- High School diploma plus one-two years specialized technical drafting and math training.
- Minimum one (1) year BIM experience required.
- General knowledge of the Revit Platform.
- Good communications skills and team orientated.
- Build and concurrently maintain a minimum of 1-3 BIM models in design.
- Formal BIM training preferred.
