DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly skilled BIM Technical Specialist to join our team. This role requires expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques and procedures, with the ability to generate accurate models, working drawings, and sketches.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development: Operate computer-aided design software to create detailed BIM models, including plans, elevations, sections, and details for various structures such as concrete, concrete masonry unit, steel, and timber.
- Collaboration and Review: Work closely with engineering staff to verify and resolve design details not completely defined, ensuring accuracy and quality of output.
- Design Editing: Input required commands to redesign, modify, or edit existing designs under the direction of the immediate supervisor, utilizing knowledge of Revit Platform.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma plus one to two years of specialized technical drafting and math training.
- Experience: Minimum one year of BIM experience required, with general knowledge of the Revit Platform.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Performance Metrics: Build and maintain a minimum of 1-3 BIM models in design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal Training: Formal BIM training preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
