What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetic Office Assistant position at Desjarlais Dermatology & Aesthetic Center?
Desjarlais Aesthetic Center is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Assistant to join our team. There is the potential for this to become a Full-Time position with additional responsibilities for the right person. Cosmetic experience and knowledge of the industry is not necessary, but would be preferred.
The Desjarlais Aesthetic Center offers laser and cosmetic skincare treatments (from laser hair removal to skin resurfacing), along with medical-grade skincare products.
We are seeking a high-energy individual with a positive attitude who will contribute to our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering calls from patients and making calls to patients & prospects
- Scheduling appointments for multiple providers
- Checking In/Out patients
- Assisting with preparing rooms between patients
- Assisting Doctor with Cosmetic Consultations
- Educating patients about Skincare Needs
- Working occasional special events and industry expos as needed

Medical-grade skin care lines include Alastin, Avene, Skinbetter, and Desjarlais Skin Care. Lasers from Alma, Cytrellis, Lutronic, Sciton, and more.

Minimum Part-Time Hours are TuTh 1:00-7:00pm, and Fri 8:30-2, with the possibility of more as needed. We close for lunch 12-1 Tue thru Thur.
