A reputable partner hospital in Gastonia, NC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This progressive practice is equipped with modern technology, including ultrasound, digital x-rays, endoscopy, and full in-house labs. They provide top-tier care for a diverse range of animals, from dogs and cats to pocket pets and exotics. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate and relationship-based care to both patients and clients
- Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to provide the best veterinary care possible
- Build lasting relationships with clients within the practice and the Gastonia/Charlotte community
- Support the professional growth of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active veterinary license in good standing to practice in North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Comfort with a variety of veterinary tasks, including surgery, diagnostics, and patient care
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to team care
