Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to companion animals. Working alongside a compassionate team, the veterinarian will perform a variety of duties, including diagnostics, surgeries, wellness exams, and client education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and create treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including preventative care and wellness exams.
  • Perform surgeries and other procedures with an emphasis on patient safety.
  • Educate clients on their pets’ health, treatment options, and preventative care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to provide exceptional care to patients.

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license to practice in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in general practice, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
  • Compassionate approach to animal care and client education.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
