A partner hospital in Valdosta, GA is seeking a passionate, skilled, and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Trust : Serve as a leader within the practice, upholding trust and respect with both staff and clients.
- Staff Development : Support the growth and development of staff through the LevelUp clinical training program .
- Client Relationships : Promote the human-animal bond by delivering exceptional client experiences and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with clients.
- Caseload Management : Effectively manage multiple patients and varying priorities, including physical examinations, diagnostic tests, treatments, and surgeries.
- Surgical and Medical Care : Perform surgeries, administer treatments, and collaborate with clients to develop personalized care plans.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Georgia, or the ability to obtain a license.
- Experience in small animal practice, with proficiency in surgery, diagnostics, and patient care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and staff.
