A partner hospital is looking for an experienced and dedicated Regional Support Veterinarian to join their team in the Houston, Texas area . This full-time, clinical position offers a unique chance to work across multiple hospitals, provide mentorship, and offer exceptional veterinary care across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Support Veterinarian , you will:
- Provide full clinical duties, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of medical conditions in small animals.
- Travel to various hospitals within the Houston, Texas area , offering direct support to different veterinary teams and their clients.
- Mentor and guide veterinary staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence in patient care.
- Adapt treatment plans and approaches to meet the unique needs of each hospital and client base.
- Contribute to the development of veterinary staff and ensure the highest standard of care is maintained across all locations.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Possess a valid veterinary license in good standing, or be able to obtain one in the state of Texas.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, adaptable approach to veterinary care and team collaboration.
- Have leadership or mentorship experience, or be eager to develop these skills.
- Display excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Be highly organized, resilient, and adaptable, with strong time management skills to succeed in a traveling, multi-hospital role.
