A well-established, multi-species veterinary practice located in Brandon, FL is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their team and serve as the medical leader of the practice. This role offers a unique opportunity for a veterinarian to guide the medical team, ensure exceptional care for a wide range of species, and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the clinical team, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration
- Partner with the Practice Manager to oversee staffing, scheduling, and operational goals
- Build positive relationships within the practice, as well as with clients and the local community
- Support the professional development of the support staff through the LevelUp clinical training program
- Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries, appointments, and emergency care
- Oversee the medical care of all patients and ensure high standards are met
- Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required permits and licenses
- Work alongside leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and the maintenance of medical best practices
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active veterinary license in good standing (or the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Florida)
