We are looking for a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join our partner hospital team in Greer, SC. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience working in a clinical setting. The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, overseeing the work of other veterinary staff, and managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery
- Oversee the work of other veterinary staff, including technicians, assistants, and receptionists
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and maintaining records
- Work with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary practices and procedures
Qualifications:
- DVM degree
- At least 5 years of experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for animals and dedication to providing quality care
