We are looking for a full-time DVM to join our team as a Regional Medical Director. This is a new opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits. The position is based in Houston, Texas, but will require travel to other locations in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and a passion for leadership. They will be responsible for providing medical oversight to our clinics in the region, as well as developing and implementing new programs and initiatives. The Regional Medical Director will also be responsible for working with our team of veterinarians to ensure that we are providing the highest level of care to our patients.
Responsibilities of the Regional Medical Director include:
Providing medical oversight to our clinics in the regionDeveloping and implementing new programs and initiatives
Working with our team of veterinarians to ensure that we are providing the highest level of care to our patients
Traveling to other locations in the region as needed
Qualifications for the Regional Medical Director include:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary schoolAt least 5 years of experience as a veterinarian
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
