Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full clinical duties while on shift in various hospitals.
- Adapt to different practice environments and collaborate with diverse teams to meet the unique needs of each hospital.
- Offer leadership and mentorship to hospital teams, ensuring optimal patient care and team cohesion.
- Customize treatment plans to suit each hospital's specific team and clientele.
- Foster a positive and resilient mindset across teams by maintaining a solution-focused approach.
- Travel locally within the Southern Georgia region to visit practices on a weekly basis.
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience is highly preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- An active veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain one in the states where the practices are located.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to delegate effectively and support teams in achieving their goals.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound judgments.
- A talent for working with, leading, and motivating diverse teams of veterinary professionals.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to represent the organization and the veterinary community positively.
