An innovative and rapidly growing veterinary organization is seeking an experienced Regional Support Veterinarian to join their team. This full-time, clinical, salaried position offers a dynamic opportunity to work across multiple hospital locations in the Southern Georgia region , with a focus on clinical excellence, leadership, and mentorship. This role is ideal for a veterinarian passionate about supporting diverse teams while gaining valuable experience in a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full clinical duties while on shift in various hospitals.
  • Adapt to different practice environments and collaborate with diverse teams to meet the unique needs of each hospital.
  • Offer leadership and mentorship to hospital teams, ensuring optimal patient care and team cohesion.
  • Customize treatment plans to suit each hospital's specific team and clientele.
  • Foster a positive and resilient mindset across teams by maintaining a solution-focused approach.
  • Travel locally within the Southern Georgia region to visit practices on a weekly basis.
  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience is highly preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • An active veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain one in the states where the practices are located.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to delegate effectively and support teams in achieving their goals.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound judgments.
  • A talent for working with, leading, and motivating diverse teams of veterinary professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A professional demeanor and the ability to represent the organization and the veterinary community positively.
