A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Las Vegas, NV . The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree , proficiency in small animal medicine , and experience in urgent care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care to small animals, including physical examinations , diagnostics , and treatment .
- Administer medications and fluids to stabilize patients.
- Consult with clients about their pets’ health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach .
- Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to provide the best possible care.
- Encourage growth of support staff through internal training programs.
- Manage a varied caseload , including surgeries and appointments during operating hours.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- 1-3 years of experience working in an urgent care setting preferred.
- Proficiency in small animal medicine .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
- Active state license in good standing (or ability to obtain).
