THE POSITION
The Material Coordinator coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between the source and final destination. Monitors material requirements and tracks movement with purchasing, production, and warehouses. Ensures material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules or inventory requirements. Inputs data into a system or database to produce reporting and demand estimates.
Production :
This role is responsible for scanning raw materials into production and returning raw materials back to the warehouse using a scanner. This role will also maintain accuracy of our WIP items into D365 (ERP).
Packaging :
This role will move Work-In-Progress (WIP) items from virtual locations to the coinciding packaging lines in D365(ERP) using a scanner. This role will also transact returns of packaging materials back to the warehouse using a scanner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensures accuracy of work orders in ERP system.
- Ensures that transactions are done accurately and timely into ERP system.
- Assists production coordinators with solving discrepancies with work orders.

Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, with equipment if necessary.
