Dianne's Fine Desserts, a division of Dessert Holdings has an opening for a Material Handler / Water Spider in Le Center, Mn. Hours Mon-Thurs 4pm-2 : 30am, Occasional Friday. There is a $3.00 shift differential for this shift
JOB FUNCTION
Water Spider is a dedicated material handler who delivers supplies to and from the production line in order to ensure production flow
Essential Duties
- Delivers supplies to and from production lines to ensure they are running to their outmost efficiency and with limited, or no waiting time.
- Coordinates among all departments to ensure smooth product transitions and eliminate downtime, waste and rework.
- Must be able to use equipment (stacker, electric hand jack, forklift) properly.
- Steps in and helps on the line when needed (Bakery, Icing, Packaging)
- Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
- Participate in the GFSI / FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to complete all JDE transactions related to this position
- Manage cardboard storage and handling in a safe manner
