What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Station Technician position at Destin Water Users?
Destin Water Users currently has a position open as a Lift Station Technician in our Lift Station Operations Dept. Under direct supervision, is responsible for the overall preventive maintenance, repair and upkeep of all mechanical equipment and facilities associated with lift stations. A “C” Level Wastewater Collections Systems Certificate is required. If the individual does not have a “C” level certificate, one will have to be obtained within two years of employment. Hours and weekend “on call duty” as needed. High School diploma and valid Florida D.L. are required.
