Professional Event DJ/MC

Job Overview
We are looking to train and promote 2 New solo Disc Jockeys (DJ).

The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, with the ability to engage and energize audiences at various events.

As a DJ, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable atmosphere through music selection, mixing, and interaction with guests.

Events we do: Weddings, Corporate events, School/church dances, Private parties, Bar mitzvahs, more.

We will train you to:

• Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the specific event and audience demographics.
• Set up and operate sound equipment, ensuring high-quality audio performance.
• Engage with guests through public speaking, making announcements, and encouraging participation.
• Collaborate with event planners to understand client preferences and event themes.
• Promote events through social media and other marketing channels to attract attendees.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries promptly.
• Assist in heavy lifting of equipment during setup and breakdown of events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the brand at all events.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal (reading a crowd).
• Proficiency in public speaking to confidently address crowds and make announcements.
• Ability to market yourself and the company in a positive style.
• Knowledge of dance music genres and trends to keep the audience entertained.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment setup and teardown.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.50 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
