What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greeter position at Destination Kia?
Destination Kia is looking for energetic and professional Greeter for our dealership located on Central Avenue in Albany!
The greeter position creates a positive first and last impression for everyone that arrives at the dealership, you will direct customers and vendors to the area of the dealership they are looking for. Greeters act as a “friendly face” upon a guest’s arrival.
PT schedule: 2p-7p Monday-Friday, alternate Saturdays 9a-6p.
Duties:
- Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
- Obtains and records basic demographic information about each customer, using dealership sales control system.
- Hands out brochures and other information to customers.
- Answers basic customer inquiries. Refers more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduces the customer to a salesperson.
- Serves as a telephone back-up.
- Serves as a clerical back-up.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior dealership experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
