As a cocktail server at the Shore Room, you will be asked to provide a personal service while guiding guests through their cocktail selection. You will be expected to have a strong knowledge of spirits in regards to their use in cocktail classics, production and quality of brand.
Service Expectations:
- Provide warm, humble and knowledgeable service throughout the property
- Liaise with restaurant and outlet operations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Strictly adhere to all alcohol safety requirements and ID checking procedures
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
- Ability to listen, communicate, and make connections with locals, visitors, & colleagues
Qualifications
- 3 years of related food, beverage with an emphasis on cocktails.
- RBS & food handlers certified
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, & spirits with the ability to convey this to a growing customer base
- Commitment to quality of execution & presentation of self & brand
- Be hyper-aware of guest perception & interactions
- A person of integrity; fair and consistent
- Ability to work collaboratively across the organization, and help foster a good working environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk actively for 8 hours
- Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height
