Job Summary: Our technology team is seeking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to our Team. Candidates for this role must have experience testing mobile or web applications for a commercial application. As part of our technology team, QA Engineers are responsible for ensuring the software and platforms we develop deliver exceptional user experience to our team members, customers and pets. QA Engineers are part of our product delivery team and are responsible for testing reactive web applications, mobile applications and services for customers and team members. They participate in sprint planning and daily standups to prioritize development work to meet our quality and deliverable timelines. QA Engineers will perform manual and automated testing. QA Engineers must be located in and authorized to work in the US. We will not provide Visa sponsorship. They must be able to work during regular US business hours. They must attend remote daily standups as well as numerous other remote meetings during the week with team members and business partners.

LOCATION: Remote
REPORTS TO: Quality Assurance Manager
PAY: $60,000 - $75,000 dependent on experience
CORE RESPONSIBILITES:
* Develop test cases for mobile and web applications
* Execute test cases and report results, create defects, provide examples to developers to help them resolve defects.
* Participate in daily standups and sprint planning to facilitate developer priorities and answer questions about defects identified in testing.
* Respond to customer-initiated issues to reproduce errors and facilitate resolution between developers and customers.
* Work in an agile development environment, maintaining user story and task status, t-shirt sizing
* Document test cases and testing strategies in tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence.
* Communicate on all open projects and give updates to both team members and Technology team staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
* 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineering role
* 3 years of work experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* College graduate (BS or BA)
Skills:
* Experience developing test plans
* Experience with Azure DevOps
* Extra credit for veterinary practice management software, such as Cornerstone, AviMark or Datapoint
Other:
* Travel is not required
* Learn quickly, self-starter, take direction well
* Exceptional troubleshooting skills, detail orientated
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Must be able to work in front of a computer for long periods of time
* Remote engineers must be able to work during regular US business hours; and must be able to regularly participate on calls via Teams or available to other team members via Teams.
