Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide medication management and monitor client responses to pharmacological treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care.
- Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives as needed to contribute to the advancement of psychiatric practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent licensure.
- Connecticut State APRN and RN License.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $52.00 - $75.00 per hour
