Job description
Drug Testing Inc. in beautiful Montrose, Colorado is looking to add a new Drug Testing Coordinator to our team! The pay range is $17.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.
The schedule would be Monday- Friday 8 am-4 pm with occasional on-call after-hours availability.
Job Description- Drug Testing Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: Collect drug screen specimens under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations as well as all State and Federal Laws
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accompany clients from the waiting room back to the drug testing location.
Fill out all paperwork and logs associated with the client’s drug test.
Ensure clients do not take anything into the drug testing room.
Observe the clients during drug screens to ensure the purity of the sample when necessary.
Administer all Drug and Alcohol Tests, including but not limited to, hair follicles, urine, breath, and/or oral swabs.
Utilize the eScreen system for setting up remote and local testing when needed.
Travel off-site to conduct testing at various locations directed by the Supervisor or as requested by the appropriate party.
Conduct testing after hours when requested.
Tend to incoming calls to both the office phone and after-hour cell phone when applicable.
Report any notable information to the probation officer or the appropriate party.
Assist with entering drug test results received into the software system.
Prepare logs and boxes for the samples being effectively shipped.
Maintain inventory and assist with supply orders.
Maintain positive working relationships with people, agencies, and other clients who come into contact with Drug Testing Inc.
Assists with routine maintenance of drug testing equipment as well as cleanup.
Proper Maintenance of Files and Data per State and Federal Regulations
Continuously assess methods to improve service delivery.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of Drug and Alcohol Policies.
Maintain, and initiate random testing lists to companies that require notifications.
Perform special projects and hold responsibility for the successful completion of directives as specified by the Supervisor and Director.
Performs urine drug screens for DOT and Non-DOT drug screens using the proper chain of custody, and ensures proper preparation for pick-up and shipment to the appropriate lab.
Perform alcohol testing and forward results to the employer in accordance with DOT regulations
Maintain proper storage and organization of chain of custody by client company and house accounts.
Maintain current rules and regulations from DOT/FMCSA/FTA on drug screens and alcohol testing.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace. This includes but is not limited to, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning toilets, wiping down counters and equipment, emptying trash, and keeping the lobby and customer-trafficked areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Removing clutter from workspaces.
Ensure building and property maintenance is kept up to standards.

- High School graduate or equivalent
