Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Conduct specimen collection processing for laboratory tests.
- Assist in IV insertion and management as required.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Support ophthalmology procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong skills in patient care, with experience in occupational health or critical care preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to implement them effectively.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding patient ailments.
- Experience in senior care settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing techniques.
