Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Travel Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in various clinical settings across different locations. You will be responsible for delivering care to patients with a range of medical needs, including critical care and infectious disease management.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with procedures such as tube feeding, phlebotomy, and sterile processing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including infection control practices.
- Provide support in specialized areas such as Pediatrics and Critical Care when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in good standing.
- Experience in infectious disease care and critical care nursing preferred.
- Proficient in administering injections and ventilating patients when necessary.
- Familiarity with pediatric nursing practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile processing protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations.
