POSITION OVERVIEW //

The Manager of Design & Quality sits within the Creative vertical as a creative production expert that ensures the agency’s creative solutions are feasible, cost-effective, efficient and executed best in class. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses their creativity and experience in production to support the Director of Design & Quality, Senior Manager of Design & Quality and agency teams throughout the ideation and build process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Partner with the Director of Design & Quality, the Senior Manager of Design & Quality, creative specialists and environmental designers to recommend goods, materials and services for creative concepts with associated cost implications prior to sale—providing practical solutions while maintaining the creative vision.
• Partner with the Director of Design & Quality, the Senior Manager of Design & Quality, sales, production and vendors to provide material costs for creative concepts.
• Once creative concepts are sold, work closely with the Director of Design & Quality, the Senior Manager of Design & Quality, production and services teams to select and purchase necessary materials to be used in the production process and assist in performing necessary quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in cataloging and organizing inventory items.
• Attend Creative, Sales, Production, Services and Client meetings as requested.
• Effectively communicate project status, financial implications, potential risks, challenges and production timeline issues.
• Work independently, collaboratively and efficiently, with superb attention to detail, while under pressure, within aggressive deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS //

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace.
• Knowledge of Asana project management software.
• 4 years of equivalent experience within the live event production industry is preferred.\

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS //

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
