POSITION OVERVIEW //

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sculptor to join our studio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating three-dimensional art and bringing concepts to life through sculpture. This role requires a strong eye for detail, an understanding of various materials, and the ability to collaborate with clients and teams to produce stunning, high-quality works of art.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design and create sculptures based on project requirements, conceptual sketches, or client specifications.
• Work with a variety of materials, such as clay, foam, stone, metal, wood, resin, or digital sculpting tools.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and team members to ensure the final piece meets artistic and functional expectations.
• Prepare mock-ups, models, or digital renderings for project approvals.
• Use tools and techniques such as carving, molding, casting, welding, or 3D printing to produce sculptures.
• Maintain and operate equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace.
• Research and recommend innovative materials, methods, or trends to enhance the quality of the work.
• Deliver completed sculptures within specified timelines and budgets.
• Ensure proper installation or display of finished pieces when required.
• Maintain a portfolio of work and provide documentation of projects for clients or stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS //

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Sculpture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience as a Sculptor, with a portfolio showcasing a range of techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in sculpting tools, machinery, and software (e.g., ZBrush, Rhino, or other 3D modeling programs, if applicable).
• Strong knowledge of art history, anatomy, proportions, and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team or with clients.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in sculpture production

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS //

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
