Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales.
- Maintain knowledge of product stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Operate cash registers efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Apply retail math skills to analyze sales data and track performance metrics.
- Exhibit professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus.
