HVAC TECHNICIAN

Detay Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, altering, and servicing various HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems and components according to codes and specifications
• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues, including faults in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Modify existing HVAC systems to accommodate new equipment or changes in building layout
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction with repairs and installations
• Ensure all work complies with local HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment, up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs.]
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for extended periods
• Capable of working in various physical conditions, including confined spaces and at elevated heights
• Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for prolonged periods
• Capability to maneuver around job sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven surfaces
• Good vision for accurate measurements and assessments, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of experience as an HVAC technician or equivalent experience as an apprentice or helper
• Must provide a completed and signed "HVAC Technician Certification of Work Experience" form
• Valid HVAC license certificate with a photo
• Proficiency in the installation, repair, alteration, and servicing of HVAC systems
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC codes, safety standards, and installation techniques
