the HIRING ONE COUNSELOR. DTR seeks motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to provide Detetection & Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. This position is for a female Substance Abuse Counselor who will provide random UA/BA observed urine/breath testing federal government contracts. The position entails providing counseling services to defendants/offenders who need Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment through local Federal Probation/Pretrial agencies. Counselors must possess a VALID Substance Abuse Certification in order to be considered for this position.
Job duties would include but not limited to the following:
- Provide random observed urine/breath testing
- Mailing of UA samples daily via the US Postal Service
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Applications
- Conduct Individual one (1) hour sessions as authorized
- Conduct Group 1 1/2 hour sessions as authorized
- Communicate regularly with United States Pretrial/Probation Officers regarding client recommendations, concerns, and/or status updates.
- Utilize computer applications to complete counseling notes
- Develop treatment plans for clients in counseling services.
- Complete intake ASI assessment when authorized
- Complete Discharge Summaries
The ability to sit at a desk, use a keyboard, write, and physically perform other job duties. Specific qualifications may vary based on the designated assignment.

Monday – Friday. Some weekends required. Random test days are early morning hours.
